Site services Mechanical Supervisor. Contribute to the day to day maintenance of the CHPP shutdowns throughout the region. Co-ordinate resources on a daily basis according to the Weekly Maintenance Schedule & site requirements. Provide direct supervision of UGL & subcontractor Maintenance employees. Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the Safety & Health Management Systems and approved Project Management Plans. Develop team members (including Leading Hand Fitter, Trades and Service personnel) to work cohesively and effectively in the work groups. Provide supervision maintenance crew, including managing performance and behaviour in the workplace. Liaise with Client representatives, Production Supervisors and Site Staff to ensure effective communication.

 Coordinate both site & workshop maintenance strategies & activities accurately & cost affectively to meet both site & company requirements.  Develop service plans to capture a focused approach to growth.  Monitor work progress of the service technicians to identify any technical issues.  Manage all HSE standards & ensure compliance.  Coordinate/manage service & administration staff.  Provide customer support through sales and technical support.  Review internal processes to ensure compliance.  Commission Ludowici capital equipment locally, interstate & overseas as required.  Perform systematic, preventative, shutdown & breakdown maintenance on capital equipment (vibrating screens, centrifuges, feeders, stockpile discharges).  Equipment diagnostics – Vibration Analysis, audits & reporting  Assist with regions operating expense budget targets.  Inventory & stock control for warehouse & scheduled service works.  Coordinate staff training both internal & external.  Manage resources & assets either directly or indirectly ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.  Reviewing, monitoring and developing recommendations for improvements to maintenance planning and the utilisation of resources to achieve set KPIs.  Managing service personnel performances and training.  Promote a safe work place. 2007-2008 Ludowici – Service Technician  Perform systematic, preventative, shutdown & breakdown maintenance on all Ludowici supplied equipment locally & interstate as required.  Develop effective customer relationships to support service requirements.  Equipment diagnostics – trouble shooting, vibration analysis, audits & reporting.  Pre – commissioning & commissioning inspections on capital equipment.  Comply with company & site OHS&E policies.  Workshop rebuilds as required.  Assist with maintenance planning & costing.

 Coordinate shift manning requirements.  Developing effective relationships that support efficient operations.  Ensure all work is adequately planned, resourced & undertaken in a safe & cost effective manner.  Operate plant maximising throughput & availability.  Ensure set product ash targets are maintained.  Perform Train Load Out operation as required.  Dozer & Front End Loader operations as required.  Complete statutory reporting details.  Stockpile management.  Liaise with mining supervisor on product coal from pit to ROM.  Perform planned, running & breakdown maintenance as required.  Comply with set company OHS&E obligations.
