The role involved working for a company that Telstra had acquired with in the Health Medical information space, Emerging Systems. Emerging Systems produce a web based clinical information systems for hospitals.

I am currently working on a number of ICT projects for Optus strategic customers. Delivering integrated solutions across the information and communication space such VoIP telephony , contact centre both in Australia and Overseas.

I am currently a sessional lecturer at RMIT where I lecture in Project Management and Entrepreneurship, a course that I currently share Russell Scott. Russell and share our real world experience with masters level student. I have also lectured in more technical subjects such as embedded systems and VHDL & High Level Synthesis. In all of these subject I find very rewarding to be able to pass on my experience and knowledge to the next generation of engineering professionals.

Project management activities around one of the first five NBN sites. This site was being rolled out by Telstra as a prime contractor to NBN.

Developed and ran numerous projects for the semi government company across the transport space. This included architectural design for Passenger Information for Regional Train, 3G network for the Yarra Trams for the display of Passenger Information Displays. --Managed program to implement a new network for the Yarra Trams for system control data acquisition (SCADA) system. Managed stakeholder relationships between Victrack and the Department of Transport and Yarra Trams. --Coordinated multiple project managers to deliver network and infrastructure. Manage a program of works for Victrack Access to become the total communications provider for Keane Australia Micropayment Consort (Kamco), --Project managed the network roll out for the Smart Bus wide area network for major client DOI

A multi faceted role where came in to software design, moved into software testing but eventually found myself in the hardware semiconductor space.

Designed and tested advanced telecommunications equipment ie digital multiplexers, digital subscriber loop equipment. --Designed and tested ISDN equipment for the Malaysian market.

Designed tested and commissioned a novel power line communication system for use in the electricity industry. Designed and developed electronic watt/hour meters.
