Utilizes scientific expertise for the development and implementation of countywide plans and procedures for responding to public health threats. Part of management team for the Department’s successful national accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). Yavapai was the first county in Arizona to achieve accreditation. Developed new case investigation forms for Arizona’s reportable communicable diseases, many of which have been adopted by the Arizona Department of Health Services. Developed the County’s first community health assessment and community health improvement plan.
