I am a Custom Software and Hardware Designer that specialises in the design of Electrochemical Instrumentation and in the development of embedded electronics. I take on short embedded programming projects of less than one month as well as long term contracts. In my role with the company I am also a software development and hardware design consultant.I was originally trained as a research electrochemist developing sensors and instrumentation methods. I have been designing electrochemical instrumentation with embedded processors and writing C firmware for more than 30 years, starting at Kodak Ltd. with Intel 8051 and 8085 processors. In 1987, sponsored by Kodak, I completed an Engineering MSc in the Design of Microprocessor and Microcontroller silicon chips. I also completed a PhD in Electrochemical Instrumentation. In 2000 I joined Whistonbrook Technologies Ltd as Technical Director developing embedded instrumentation for a variety of customers.
