* Develop work instructions for production shop floor. * Collaborate with machine shop, production, accounting, program management, quality, shipping, and final test lab. * Provide customer engineering support. * Provide support for root cause and corrective actions. * Participate in MRB activities. * Review engineering change requests (ECR); verify and confirm disposition by creating change summary notices (CSN). * Prototype and design tooling for manufacturing floor. * Devise PFMEA’s, process flow maps, and gage R&R’s.

* Assist in customer quality support * Direct, hands-on inspection of various production sub-components and assemblies * Collaborate with customer service representatives, purchasing, production, engineering, shipping, receiving, final inspection and final assembly * Create FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) in accordance to AS9102 and Honeywell standards utilizing Net Inspect Software * Honeywell Self-Release Representative (SRR) * Generate inspection plans for test lab department and receiving/inspection department utilizing Inspection Xpert software * Review contracts, purchase orders, specifications, and customer drawings * Devise final product material and process certification packages for customers * Assist Initiating ICARs (Internal Corrective Action Reports) * Perform internal audits to AS9100/ISO9001 and construct audit reports * Participate in MRB as quality representative * Review customer contracts and flow down quality requirements

* Support lead mechanical engineer in new product development using Solidworks 3-D modeling software * Support in designing new light fixtures and reflectors * Devise test procedures for measuring light emissions * Support production by assembling final product and soldering PCB circuit boards to connectors * Support quality assurance by directly testing finished goods before shipment
