• Managed full cycle recruiting and onboarding at Gafcon, Inc. from intake with hiring manager, understanding skills and competencies required, posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and recommending top candidates to hiring managers, reference checks, background checks, onboarding paperwork, I-9 Documentation, first day coordination, and equipment setup. • Developed recruiting strategies and SOP (Standard Operating Plan) to support all Gafcon, Inc. hiring needs. • Managed the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components such as reference checks and background check for final candidates. • Provides high-touch candidate care, including disposition of and engaging with candidates as appropriate and in a transparent and respectful manner. • Built a strong professional pipeline with a focus on our industry (Technology & Construction Management) as well as Diversity & Inclusion, and represents Gafcon, Inc. at career fairs, industry events, and University relations. • Compiled reports and makes recommendations on continuous improvement efforts. Track’s effectiveness of sourcing methods. • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices. • Manages the onboarding process including delivering, collecting, and auditing new hire paperwork, entering new hires in all necessary systems, I-9 verification, and conducting new-employee orientations. • Tracks all leave of absences (LOA) and send out all necessary notices to employees on a LOA to maintain compliance with state and federal laws. • Maintains employee records in HRIS, and is responsible for employee set up, status changes, and terminations. • Assists finance & Accounting with bi-weekly payroll processing. • Managed company seating chart, org chart, and safety PPE. • Active member of the culture committee and safety committee at Gafcon.
