About
At heart, I am an idealistic do-gooder thirsting for meaning and bettering the lives of people suffering or stunted, who need a hand. I jumped off the Wharton for-profit escalator, but carried the investment mindset into non-profit social investing. For over 20 years I have applied leveraging and efficiency models to charity to JOIN Israel. Its fundamental collaborative approach flows from our core competencies as well as our core values and principles.

Formerly, Jewish Opportunities Institute, JOI. JOIN Israel rescues people who are hopelessly stuck in intolerable situations – youth delinquency, dysfunctional families, impoverished elderly, inferior education and literacy, legal and financial strangleholds – through strategic partnerships. We partner with schools for educational issues, government agencies and local charities for welfare needs, other non-profits, the larger community and the clients themselves to extend our joint capabilities to solve neglected problems and avoid duplication and waste.
