As a Senior HR Shared Services Specialist, I serve as the primary HR point of contact within Canada for employees in our Fredericton and Vancouver offices. I lead new hire onboarding including new hire orientation. I also handle the front end of payroll and convey all changes every pay period to our payroll team. In this role, I also partner with our Talent Management team regarding any sensitive employee relations, performance management matters and employee separations as needed. I also handle the benefit administration for our Canadian employees.

As an HR Generalist I participate in the recruitment process including interviewing, reference checks, and preparing offer letters/contracts. Plan and deliver employee orientation presentations as well as employee engagement programs. I also deliver the employee benefits, corporate fitness and EAP programs. Develop and implement policies, procedures and programs in order to ensure effective delivery of human resources services throughout the company.

As an HR Administrator I am responsible for providing support and coordination for all human resources activities across all campuses. I participate in the recruitment process including interviewing, preparing offer letters/contracts.I also deliver the employee benefits plan by assisting employees with benefit plan questions and claims, act as a liaison with the group benefits provider and ensure benefit plan changes are communicated to all employees. I participate on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and provide administrative support as required.
