Stephanie Prather

Stephanie Prather is a graduate of American College of Education with a Masters in Early Childhood Development. She is a kindergarten teacher at a Title 1 public school in Utah. She loves teaching and finding new ways to interact with her students and believes that play is an essential part of her curriculum. She has taught for 6 years, including first grade, pre-school, and now kindergarten. Stephanie has a bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Elementary Education. She believes that learning should be fun and engaging and include all stakeholders in the child's education. Stephanie is a member of the Guiding Coalition and leader of her Professional Learning Community. She was nominated and selected as Teacher of the Year in 2021. In her free time, Stephanie loves spending time with her husband of 18 years and her 4 beautiful girls. They enjoy the outdoors, board games, making treats, and spending time with their extended family. Her superpower is making people laugh and keeping the conversation lively. She personally enjoys cookie dough, online shopping, anything chocolate, The Grinch, and of course, her family.
