I have utilized my program coordination expertise as a nutritional epidemiologist and data analyst for the MA WIC program, as evidenced by conducting annual WIC needs assessments for 150,000 WIC participants in the Nutrition Division for 10 years and 48,000 children with special health needs over 5 years. • Cross-functional collaboration skills with experience as an interdisciplinary scientist who has engaged with various stakeholders, including junior and senior professionals, with a passion for population health and education, as evidenced by receiving 13 awards, including public health community nutrition award. • Project and program management expertise with the ability to analyze over 100 grant proposals and awards for regional Noyce STEM Scholarships on a daily, independent basis. Participated in panel proposal reviews as a notetaker for 10 panels. -and determined overall impact of 20 years of Noyce funding on STEM education in various regions of the USA • Organization and development experience by applying science to government policy as advisor and researcher, as demonstrated by 12 policy issues and legislation like maternal and child health, climate, environment, IRA, and health policy.
