Review literature, academic & agency literature on ‘Fragile States’ and on ‘health aid & health systems strengthening in Fragile States’, including agency website, blogs, and social media. Interview key informants in stakeholders: UN agencies, bilateral aid agencies, academics, NGO staff, and in particular with various stakeholders in fragile states (Country mission performed in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, October 2013, attending the Be-Cause Health Conference).

I am consultant at Lattanzio Group Consulting, a private company working with Public Institutions at European, national and local level, to promote integrated strategies for offering services capable of improving public management. Since when I entered in this company, I have constantly had the opportunity to better grasp the various activities of public institutions, and the relationships among them. In particular I support and assist these organs in the following areas of intervention: business process reengineering, strategic planning, social reporting, management control, reorganization of processes, quality improvement, ICT improvement, and institutional communication. At present, I am also following the International Business Development of the Group (Washington, DC). This position enhanced my ability of analyzing very complex situations, in order to propose solutions fitting a variety of different needs. I also enjoyed it for it enables me to use a good share of strategic thinking.
