My career has been defined by leading groundbreaking projects, such as the introduction of the SOMATOM Sensation 64, the pioneering Dual-Source CT scanner (SOMATOM Definition), and the revolutionary Photon-Counting CT scanner (NAEOTOM Alpha), which set new standards in computed tomography. As a visionary leader, I specialize in blending scientific rigor with business acumen. My tenure includes being part of the founding team of the CT Clinical Innovation Center at the Mayo Clinic, building global clinical collaboration networks, and delivering impactful clinical solutions validated by over 8000 citations and an h-index of 30. In 2021, my team and I were proud finalists for the prestigious German Future Prize. Now embarking on an exciting new chapter as General Manager for Computed Tomography Europe at United Imaging Healthcare, I am driven by the company’s vision of leading healthcare innovation and its mission to bring equal healthcare for all. My focus will be on establishing a sales and service organization in Europe, driving market success, and fostering innovation in computed tomography.
