Part of maintenance team in Ingenico ePayments, the online payment service provider leader in Europe.A very challenging job, Level 3 Application Maintenance team, handles urgent issues, coming straight from the customers. The purpose of the team is to provide fast response to customers inquiries, technically, translated into troubleshooting the issues, resolving them, bug fixing, testing them and monitoring the deployment. In parallel, we need to fix existing issues, and create tool to ease the process and enhance our team and other teams’ abilities to maintain the platform. Main work was done in classic ASP technology, but nevertheless also in the new .NET migrated system. Briefly that was: Troubleshooting daily issues in ASP and.NET code, by analyzing the code, providing resolutions. Fixing already existing defects in ASP and.NET code Providing technical support to Level 2 and Level 1 / CC Developing internal tools using .NET WinForm, MVC in C# like: MVC website testing tool, used to test all external services. The purpose was to give developers and technical operation team a simple and fast way to troubleshoot the issues. .NET WinForm decrypting tool, PCI compliant, used to import data from external parties. .NET WinForm gzip decompression tool. .NET WinForm data restore tool, used to recover broken transactions

After leaving Goldbet, and couple of month of travelling, I decided that I wanted to build my own football and horses betting software. During one year and a half, I have developed from scratch, C# based services and WinForm application, which expanded to a 2.5MB code size and around 20000 lines. The idea was to fetch data from the web regularly, transform it into primary data, for a fast data mining calculation, then based on the results, please a bet automatically, at specific moment of the game. The optimization was the challenge of the software. I succeeded to make billions of array intersection in an util time and decrease the memory consumption from 800M to 200M, necessary for dealing with more than 200000 objects. Multi-threading, data manipulation and REST services are the key components of this project. After trying different strategies and different computations, I got to unsure results, which made me move on, since this might had been a long term investment. Key developments of this project are: ✦ DB design and tuning ✦ HTTP crawler and parser ✦ Multi-threading computation / Data mining using C# console application ✦ WinForm C# application ✦ Automatic betting using external APIs / rest services ✦ Optimization, using unsafe code for best performances ✦ Notification system, sending emails at specific events ✦ Automatic startup/shutdown of the application

Goldbet is an online Italian betting company based in Innsbruck. Working as a .NET developer, my main tasks were related mostly with front-end development, web-site and WPF desktop application, but nevertheless I was assigned to integrate a new payment provider, that meant working with services and database. The job ended after one year, when the company changed the directions and dismissed most of the developers. A brief description of the roles: ✦ Developing new views and bug fixing of the desktop application, using WPF and MVVM design model. ✦ Integrating payment provider, creating all structure together with database schema and stored procedures. ✦ Learning Umbraco, then using it to create new pages, scripting and MVC controllers. ✦ Building one of the WPF view for betting machines, that is the interface where the punter can choose the event, market and selection to place a bet ✦ Working on the older website with ASP and VB, adding new functionality

I had been working on this payment service provider(CQR PAYMENTS SOLUTION GMBH part of BWIN) with an enterprise solution. My roles were divert starting with helping defining functional requirements, analyzing possible implementation, designing technical specification, implementing, and finishing with release and rollout activities. We were using Agile and Scrum methodology with iteration varying from 2 to 4 weeks. I have been involved in developing parts of whole system: front-end, web services, engines. Some of my roles: ✦ Helping with defining functional requirements, together with business owners. ✦ Analyzing, estimating and creating technical specifications. ✦ Developing using .NET 4.0, ASP.NET, MVP, MVC, WCF, Web Services, SOAP, POX, REST, WF, Workflows. ✦ Being part of software release life cycle, communicating with testers, fixing bugs, creating branches and tags, and rolling out the new features.

Client: MSN One small project for Microsoft client, consisted in a web application called Mini Digital Market, where users can view products and choose to buy from a related partner site. The application has a custom Management Content System, where admin can manage categories, products and supplier information. My roles were: ✦ Developer leader over a team of 5 people located in China. ✦ Database designing. ✦ .NET Developer over few most complex parts of the project. ✦ Code and SQL reviewing ✦ Direct contact with PM, talking part in decision making for improving and finishing the project on time, given the short deadline.

Client: MSN I participated in a stage creator project for Microsoft video MSN network. The aim was to give a solution to Microsoft partners for creating own advertising page having a predefined template created in the local CMS. The project is developed in .NET and should integrate with Windows Live authentication system and should reuse web components already existing on the Soapbox MSN web site. My roles were: ✦ Developer leader over a team of two people located in India. ✦ Communicating with PM and the team. ✦ Involved in developing C#.NET parts of administration module in order to finish the project in short time. ✦ Finding solutions to technical issues. ✦ Understanding the CMS tool. ✦ Implementing security and privacy/policy rules.

Client: EIRCOM Coming back to TCS main office in Budapest I joined another critical project. This is a small web application using .NET technology, whose purpose is to give employees of the client’s company the possibility to register and track their overtime. The application is updating the users’ information using a daily job from a resource file generated by another system. It also has to generate specific format documents, used as an input for the main employee management mainframe system. ✦ Understanding the documentation. ✦ Developing the web application using C# in combination with Ajax. ✦ Writing stored procedures and DTS packages in SQL 2000. ✦ Supporting the application while deploying and fixing bugs. ✦ Communicating with client and resolving the issue. ✦ Writing design document.

Client: SONOFON After a short period in Vista Center I was assigned for this critical project in Sonofon, a Danish telecom company. The goal was to migrate two of already existing commercial web sites, for pre-paid mobile customers, from Java to .NET technology. Data was coming and managed from a center place through existing WLI web services, and content was managed by Tridion R5 software. I was part of this project from the begging till the delivery time. ✦ Analyzing the existing web site and WLI services. ✦ Preparing the high level design and low level design documents. ✦ Creating design flowcharts in Microsoft Vision. ✦ Coding Testing and Debugging in ASP.NET 2.0, C#. Also working with AJAX .NET. ✦ Understanding and implementing the electronic payment through DIBS service. ✦ Creating schema, components and component templates in Tridion.

Part of TCS Vista Core Team, I was responsible for verifying applications’ compatibility with Windows Vista operating system. Our main task is migration of client’s systems from XP/2000 to Vista. ✦ Responsible for hardware and software assessment. ✦ Creating reports and suggesting remediation for issues that applicators encounter while running on Vista. ✦ Collaboration with the client was another part of my task.

Client: Medical Protective I joined TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES Hungary in January 2006 as AIESEC trainee and I started to work on this project as a database developer. Afterwards, in October, the company decided to hire me and continue working with this project. ✦ Developing and implementing PL/SQL packages used by TIBCO processes. ✦ Assigned later for implementation, documentation and testing of TIBCO BusinessWorks processes, until the project was closed.

Junior and later senior web programmer within this company small team who’s main task was developing and maintaining a famous international TV channel’s websites. ✦ Creating, first static and later on dynamic pages, using ASP/SQL2000 technology. ✦ Designed, developed, tested and maintained important internal web applications related to text translations, task scheduling and spot management. ✦ Training employees for using the web applications mentioned above. ✦ Close collaboration with the users and continuously improvement of web tools. ✦ Redesigning and redeveloping of spot management application through database optimization and new functionalities implementation. ✦ Towards the end of collaboration with this company, I designed and implemented a very important management system for all the applications created previously. It is programmed using ASP.NET, C# and the purpose is to collect, integrate and access from one central point all the internal applications. The users were given roles so they can access only those web tools which where assigned to.
