• Establish multi-state retail collection department to service new and existing firm clients, implement collection industry software, develop paperless litigation process, research and create processes and forms for collection in Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming • Administer all Colorado collection cases, as well as attend scheduled court dates. Coordinate cases with attorneys in each state and oversee litigated cases • Handle client communication, supervise existing client audits and new client on-boarding, generate all client remittance, and work and audit legal collections accounts • Supervise a staff of five collectors/legal assistants

• Attend high volume county court civil returns in forcible entry and detainer cases and collection actions, negotiate stipulations, and represent clients in court proceedings including possession hearings, defense in small claim actions, mediations, counterclaims, and collection trials • Establish landlord collection department to service new and existing firm clients, develop paperless process, create all department processes and forms • Represent clients in hourly matters, file public trustee foreclosures, represent creditor clients in bankruptcy proceedings, advise clients on daily legal matters, draft articles in monthly firm newsletter, and bi-monthly homeowner’s association newsletter • Supervise homeowners association collection department, train and supervise two employees

• Promoted to co-manager of a large legal department within six weeks of hire • Rewrote all motion forms to ensure compliance with Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure • Interviewed, hired, trained, and released employees • Managed trial calendar for three attorneys, coordinated client witness participation at trial, prepared cases for trial, pretrial conference and hearings, and drafted and filed motions • Initiated office-wide document scanning process, assisted in implementation of document management software, and supervising project to scan all paper files

• Drafted pleadings and motions for bankruptcy adversary proceedings, district and county court cases used by attorney with cursory edits • Supervised thousands of case files, maintained a tickler system, and communicated with judicial service representatives, law enforcement officials, and private process servers • Managed three person legal staff, hired, trained, and released employees • Maintained and reconciled client funds in an attorney trust account • Implemented conversion to industry specific software and transformation to a paperless office
