About
Stacy graduated with honors from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo where she majored in political science. The Steins moved to Colorado in the late 90’s, and Stacy graduated with honors from the Denver Paralegal Institute in 2002. Stacy worked in legal collections for several years as a paralegal and legal manager. Stacy enrolled at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law in 2006, and continued to work as a paralegal and legal manager in legal collections while in law school. Stacy received her J.D. from the University of Denver Law School in May 2009 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in November 2009. Before opening Stein Law, P.C., Stacy worked for a large landlord/tenant firm adding experience in evictions, landlord tenant law, litigation, and homeowners association law to her collections experience. Stacy then spent an additional year with a multi-state foreclosure firm, managing legal collections accounts in nine states. In 2014, Stacy passed the bar exams in Nevada and New Mexico. Stacy became licensed in Wyoming in 2016 and Utah in 2017.
