• Involvement in detailed engineering design. • Conduct field site survey and preparing of deliverables and material take-off list. • Identify and manage risk/s of the assigned tasks. • Management of multiple telecommunication systems(DWDM,LAN,SDH,PDH,PAGA,CCTV,ACS) • Provide recommendations and proposed solutions to projects and undertake the implementation of assigned projects including directing and having personal involvement in Engineering Design. • Prepare technical presentations for internal and external use. • Interface with the Project Managers and/or Lead Engineers when required to provide technical expertise. • Project Material Submittals , Site Team Management & Supervising Installation Activities • Supervising Commissioning , Coordination with all Contractors & Implementation Management.

• Analyses and clears major and complex transmission faults relating to the Core Network elements. • Carries out the day-to-day activities of provision, cessations, re-routing. • Testing of required links with testers/Analyzers (2/34/45Mb & STM1, 4, 16, and Ethernet testing 10MB-10G) • ODTR testing for locating FO Cable faults and during cable outages. • Attend independently onsite DWDM/CWDM reported hardware/link reported faults by NOC teams for M/S Huawei, Ciena and Alcatel equipment’s. • Attend independently onsite Cisco ASR & NEXUS core routers & switches hardware/Link reported faults by Operation teams. • Attend independently onsite Sandvine PTS & Gigmon devices HW/ link faults & Juniper, Cisco & Fortinet firewalls hardware/link reported faults by NOC & operations teams. • Ensures availability of Core Networks spares, tools, and test instruments etc. working in proper conditions. In addition, maintains and updates spares database. • Liaise with TMC-NOC in all service orders and faults related to Core Networks. • Reports and reviews on day-to-day basis with superiors the key/critical observations/concerns and follows up to ensure conformance to the standards operation and maintenance of Core Network including safety as per COMPANY guidelines. • Attends call-out duties; planned activity & hazardous of all fixed networks as per management requirements 24/7. • Coordinates with other Engineering sections including NOCs and operation teams for any reported fault or issues etc. • Participate on commissioning and acceptance test (ATP/ ACL) for expansion & newly installed Core & Access network projects that leads to traffic loading approval.

• Support for IP related operations( New node intergration , Insertion ) • Co-ordinating with field Team for NEW roll-outs • BW Utilization & upgradation in core routers. • Support in clearing X2 , S1 related alarm for Node B & enode B. • Performing IP audit every quarter. • Support for issues related to IP duplication , Vlan duplication , BW chocking & HW failures. • Co-ordianting with FE to take back up of each nodes locally. • In co-rdinate with JuniperTAC for solving issues related to ERPS , RNC & node B related alarms . • Preparing MOP for NEW roll out sites , i.e both 3G & 4G. • Preparing plan for site distribution in each routers . • Support for clearing DCN related issue in switches with support from FE . • Performing regular power redudancy checking in all AGG2 & AGG1 router location . • Manitaining proper node spares in respective location. • Good knowledge in troubleshooting 3G/4G node alarm (Severe/Major/Minor) • Maintaining proper router count in each AGG2 & AGG1 ring topology. • Make sure full throttle BW passes through each aggragation port of core router. • Regular PM for Juniper (MX-104 ,MX-480,MX-960 & JEX4300 switches ) & Cisco nodes (7609)

• Bandwith optimisation & Planning for Transmission N/W in Kerala circle • M/W optimisation of microwave Loops,which include modulation,Frequency & ATPC changes • Radio Network Optimization • Operate the balance between coverage, capacity & quality • Handing the internal process of related Networking. • Implementation & support of LAN/WAN,VLAN, networks. • HUAWEI ISU2-ISV3 card swap for 3G/4G provisioning, Huawei NE S/W upgradation. • Monitors performance data to proactively detect possible failures • Co-ordinating with ECI & HUAWEI care team, FRT Team and field engineer for rectifying MUX related critical alarms. • Maintaining server backups and fetching reports from ECI,HUAWEI,CERAGON servers. • Responsible for integration, Upgradation and rearrangement of GBoIP of BSC’s in CISCO switch and NMS. • Well experienced with BSC rehoming, Site reparenting, loop splitting, Fiber integration to nodes,GBoIP integration and upgradation of BSC’S in Kerala circle. • ERPS, single homing, & Dual homing configuration performed on AGG1 & AGG2 router location. • Has worked in MPLS network topology. • Configuration of POA sites in ECI & CERAGON. • Good knowledge in Network Management System- ALCATEL EM (Element manager) and RM (Regional Manager),ECI ,HUAWEI (U2000) & CERAGON NMS • Implemention of PORT POLICY on M/W Link & dropping Node Location for 3G & 4G • Experience in MUX swap between 16642 EMC , 1662 & 1660 (R4 & R5), & Up gradation of STM 16 networks & WDM trail shifting/creation. • Configuration and Integration of ECI Mux’s (XDM1000,300,100,BG 20,40,30,USDM) • Intergration of new Huawei Loops RTN series & OSN node 550 ,1832 X16 & X8 OSN 8800 & 7500. • Provisioning for NODE B,Support for 3G & 4G LTE network provsioning. • Experience in Mux Swap between ECI(BG,uXDM & XDM) with HUAWEI(RTN 910,950 & OSN NODES).

•Handling SDH & PDH links and also have a sound knowledge of SDH, PDH Transmission technologies. •Conducting MW Link Line of sight Surveys to find new optimum transmission paths •Familiar with MOTOROLA and ZTE BTS & BSC’s. Handling and closing alarms from different sites by logging in to the BSC. •Daily collect various parameters from BSC and record them in a register for preventive maintenance.. •Measurements VSWR & Return loss of RF cables. •Coordinate in Network Implementation for Wire-line activities. •Installation, commissioning and maintenance of ALCATEL 1642, 1662, 1660 mux. •Providing MPLS connectivity to various customers which include installation & commissioning of equipments like FMS, MUX, Power plant etc.
