Procurement of Herbs, Minor Spices, Extracts & Flavours.

•Hands-on experience in procurement of raw herbs, spices and botanical extracts. Developed strategies to source RM on a timely manner in order to obtain better yields, quality and cost effectiveness. Assigned with sourcing of packing materials. Identify, manage and audit contract manufacturing units. •Strategic association with an NGO’s in remote location to get trained our partner farmer in eco- friendly, sustainable farming practice. Travel extensively to growing areas in order to understand the real time scenario, demand – supply gaps and price movements of key commodities in assigned material categories. •New supplier identification and development for specific raw material within specific deadlines. Closely associate with R&D team for new projects. Plan and minimize Working capital in line with sales & production plans. Monitors and review supplier performance in terms of lead time, quality, delivery etc. •Implemented strategies to outsource botanical extracts in cost effective manner. Collaborate with Production team and QA team if they need to change quality of material. •Maintain and report weekly KPI's. Maintaining clean dashboard and on time escalations. •Implement the sourcing strategy and contract management with the suppliers. •Created purchasing strategies and managing daily purchasing activities & timely delivery of materials goods using most appropriate Purchase procedures. Conduct periodic surveys to measure internal customer feedback. •Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost- effective solutions. Conforms with commercial and quality systems, faces audits, and all audit related documents and readiness. Maintain the Supplier relationship & Managing Procure to pay cycles. Plan the activities for inventory control.

• Primarily into sustainable sourcing of spices, essential oils, oleoresins & aroma chemicals. Strategic alliance with mint manufactures for effective sourcing of mint oils and menthol crystals. • Plan, organize, strategize, and execute materials requirements at most competitive price in timely manner so as to meet business goals of business in assigned material categories. Provided purchasing planning and control information by collecting analyzing and summarizing data and trends. • On-field crop surveys by travelling to sourcing areas and interacting with farmers. Travelled extensively throughout India to identify new sources and procure high quality spices and essential oils. Ensure about the cost and availability of product before purchasing. Purchasing reports for forecasting and cost tracking. • Responsible for managing outsourcing contracts, third party productions, negotiations and finalizing terms with contract vendors & various service providers. Devising pricing methodologies and company strategies through economic and business analysis for key products trading in international markets. • Maintaining different MIS and records necessary for commercial operations of the company. Working Closely with QC team for quality assurance of product in all outsourcing product. • Identification of new Vendors, Arrange prequalification and registration. Evaluates inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine most economical purchasing of inventory and supplies in relationship to company’s cost of capital. Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements. • Expedites purchase orders as necessary and ensures delivery of purchased items for uninterrupted manufacturing flow. Conducts supplier site visits and evaluates them as to production capability, performance and business criteria. Initial preparation and issuance of RFQs for a wide range of commodities.

• Handling operations for harvested green leaves from field to factory for production. • Providing assistance to factory manager by monitoring and controlling the production. • Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies. • Co-coordinating logistics of finished goods from factory to warehouse. • Analyze existing functions of warehouse and suggest changes for improvement.
