As a dedicated Raw Material & Quality Control Specialist in the solar glass manufacturing industry, I bring hands-on experience in managing and optimizing the quality of quartz sand — the cornerstone raw material in high-performance solar glass production. I currently lead the Raw Material Department with a strong focus on Quartz Sand Quality Control, overseeing a cross-functional team responsible for rigorous testing, chemical and physical analysis, and process monitoring. My work ensures that only the highest-quality raw materials — especially silica-rich, low-iron quartz sand — make it into our production line. Key areas of expertise include: Field Evaluation & Sample Testing: Conduct regular mine visits to assess new quartz sources, evaluating silica purity and iron content through both manual and instrument-based analysis (XRF, sieve analysis, etc.). Lab Operations & Quality Monitoring: Supervise physical and chemical testing, maintaining real-time, accurate lab documentation. I operate advanced lab instruments, including XRF analyzers, to ensure compliance with stringent solar-grade standards. Process Supervision & Troubleshooting: Manage a rented quartz processing unit, ensuring end-to-end quality — from raw input to processed sand output. Rapidly identify and resolve issues such as iron contamination or equipment failures (e.g., vibrating screens). Production Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with the production head and plant teams to ensure smooth coordination and immediate resolution of process deviations. Continuous Improvement: Implement consistent sampling during mining and processing, ensuring quality stability and continual process optimization. My goal is to uphold and enhance raw material quality standards for solar glass production, contributing directly to product efficiency and sustainability in the renewable energy sector.
