Teaching Questionnaire Design Graduate course on questionnaire development from the perspective of cognitive techniques. Questionnaire issues include choosing the mode of data collection, selecting the respondent, the differences between asking attitude and factual questions, and cognitive pretesting approaches. Throughout course, students design, pretest, and prepare to field individual questionnaires.

Providing research methods expertise and coordinating methodological resources for engagement teams in a wide range of topic areas for the planning, design, and execution of applied research and evaluation, in all stages of research, through development of guidance, instruction in methods courses, and direct responsibility for methodological issues in about 200 individual performance audits; Developing researchable questions and considering and executing data gathering techniques, including surveys, focus groups, small group methods, interviews, data collection instruments, content analysis, and use of secondary data; assessing the reliability and validity of computer processed data; planning and executing descriptive and statistical analyses of primary and secondary data, as well as simulation modeling and verification of programs, using MS Access, MS Excel, NVivo, QPL, SAS, SPSS, and STATA; and reporting on methodological design, process, and results. Named as contributor to 75+ publications.

Teaching Project Management Graduate course on project management based on principles from the Performance Management Body of Knowledge. Course covers a variety of topics including leadership, organizational culture, project planning and networks, time and cost estimation, resource scheduling and monitoring, and project evaluation.
