About
I am passionate about scaling technologies for impact and enabling entrepreneurs. Much of my academic career was within the Institute of Biotechnology at Cambridge University where I worked on classical, population and computational genetics. I moved to California following my passion for start-ups and entrepreneurship. Upon completing my MBA at the Stanford GSB I joined Venrock, a VC firm in Silicon Valley, and later moved as an EIR to Kleiner Perkins. At KP I co-founded a computational genetics company and subsequently founded a VC fund. Most of the time I'm talking to company builders and thinking about how we can exploit data to make change for good.
