Responsible for maintaining and optimising production machinery to maximise efficiency and reliability across the plant. I focus on identifying practical opportunities to improve performance, reduce downtime, and keep processes running smoothly within natural stoppages. I take a hands-on approach to continuous improvement, using 5S, strong housekeeping standards, and real-time problem solving to create safer, more efficient working environments. Safety is always a top priority. I regularly work alongside supervisors and production teams to ensure area KPIs are achieved, providing clear feedback on performance, identifying inefficiencies, and suggesting improvements that can be implemented with minimal disruption. I’m particularly interested in how small, low-cost changes on the shop floor can lead to measurable gains in output, reliability, and overall efficiency.

Worked within the production team while actively supporting engineering and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the plant. Contributed to CI projects focused on reducing downtime, improving line efficiency, and identifying practical opportunities for performance improvements within day-to-day operations. Worked closely with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot issues, support KPI delivery, and implement small, low-disruption improvements that improved reliability and output. Maintained high standards of 5S, housekeeping, and safety, ensuring a clean, organised, and compliant working environment at all times. This experience developed a strong interest in continuous improvement and operational efficiency, which has shaped my progression into engineering and process improvement roles.
