• Obtained over fifteen years of emerging markets risk management and market making experience as the primary Mexico interest rates derivatives trader, consistently achieving excellent quantitative and qualitative results • Trade interest rate derivatives (interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, inflation swaps, foreign exchange forwards, swaptions, caps, and floors) with institutional and corporate clients • Travel throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America to network with clients and conduct over fifty in-person meetings per year • Liaise with salespeople across five continents in order to increase market share of the emerging markets rates business • Responsible for many major business development projects including technology releases and electronic trading initiatives that involve collaboration with technology, quant, and COO teams • Experience in trader supervision and mentorship • Participate in on-campus recruiting and actively mentor junior members of the firm through summer internship, winter externship, and new-hire programs
