Motivated as strongly by achievement and goals, as I am by team and relationship building, I am committed and passionate about public service. I intend to forge a career as a public servant in an organization that provides support to children at risk of harm, families in crisis, and domestic abuse prevention. There are many pressures and stresses that can affect the home environment. Sometimes abuse can occur in the seemingly unlikeliest places. It is our job as adults to be guardians by remaining vigilant and sensitive to the easily missed signs of such abuse, and aim to pursue best efforts to support the end of abuse of a very vulnerable population: children. And wherever possible, to aid the recovery from trauma and establish a support system on which they can stand.
