* Worked at British American Tobacco as Front of House Receptionist via Securitas. Here my duties are to create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff whilst upholding the security of the building * furthermore appointed to cover the Reception Supervisors’ holiday and on-going leave & cover the Directors reception when needed. On a day to day basis I log visitors into and out of the building for meetings or appointments and inform their hosts of arrival. I’m also the first port of call for any general assistance upon entering the building. Other responsibilities consist of looking through and actioning the JML’s (joiners, movers, leavers) * making ID passes for new joiners or replacement passes * keeping up to date records on excel * labelling guest passes * stock take * taking photos of new starters and entering any important information into the online calendar and spreadsheets. I worked at Edengene, an innovation consultancy, as their Office Support and Innovation Apprentice, whilst studying and achieving an NVQ level 2 Diploma in Business Administration. My responsibilities included, ordering supplies, answering incoming calls, processing invoices, greeting and welcoming visitors, updating the CRM system and preparing mail-outs. I also liaised with the consultants and was involved in research tasks, helping to prepare Excel presentations, documents and slides.
