Roles include: •Trend research/forecasting for multiple brands from high street to high-end for intimate apparel and swimwear for both womens and mens •Working both closely with the Senior Designer and independently to create design concepts through moodboards and interpreting current trends to ensure design concepts are fashion-forward •Designing intimate apparel from concept through to production for a variety of brands ranging from the commercial high-street to high-end luxury. •Producing highly accurate tech packs with precise CAD sketches and BOMs in order for the factory to produce accurate samples •Involved in fittings of samples with the team to secure the perfect fit •Having strong fabric/trim awareness especially for lingerie and swimwear •Designing packaging/swing tags/hardware artworks to be sent to suppliers •Designing and producing linebooks/catalogues for the sales team •Liaising with factories and suppliers •Approving lab dips and strike offs •Domestic travel including visiting Interfilliere Paris to help showcase our brands and source fabrics/trims

Became the first of their interns outside of the US to be enrolled onto their internship program for 10 weeks. Tasks included a group concept project with three other interns which was presented to Gap employees including the VPs of each department. Roles included attending meetings with the GapBody designers for a variety of suppliers as well as being involved with fittings, producing line plans for merchandisers, editing tech packs and becoming immersed in the Gap corporation especially in the area of design.

Roles included organising customer orders, which held a great deal of responsibility to ensure the customer received what they ordered and was beautifully presented. Other roles included adding features to current and future collections as well as cutting out fabric using Lascivious’s patterns, which were used with sampling. I was also able to help with photographing the new collections to be shown online; first with guidance then I had the responsibility along with the photographer to ensure the garments were accurately presented.
