During the GCSE exam period I temporarily worked closely with GCSE students helping them to gain the confidence needed to be successful within their exams; including tutoring Maths, English literature, English Language, as well as both Core and Additional Science. Before each lesson I was assigned with a student and given a small brief about as to what the student struggled with. I then would use the software programme IXL to find questions for the child to complete based on what they struggled with, in addition I would use revision guides to help me base my knowledge of, which developed my skill to work under pressure.

My key responsibilities included serving customers hot and cold beverages and serving ice creams from the parlour. Maintaining food hygiene and ensuring all canteen facilities are kept clean and tidy, as well as delivering excellent customer service at the till.

Sales Assistant role; my key responsibilities included General customer service, serving customers on the till and assisting customers. Cleaning mirrors and shelves, ensuring all items were security tagged and general replenishment of stock. As I was the only member of staff at the concession, I was able to further develop both my organisation skills by prioritising customers, but at the same time keeping the shop floor clear and accessible.

* My key responsibilities included looking after children age 5-9 years old and taken on a leadership role involving helping the children with both their homework and reading skills, organising different activities to help the children develop social skills,aswell as making the children a healthy snack before being collected by parents. As part of work experience at BMI Healthcare, I was able to undertake learning and implementation of digital marketing activities. These included social media posting , monitoring of engagement, google analytics, updating the website, and creating marketing emails.

Currently I am working as a Sales Advisor at the tanning salon Indigo sun, my role includes cleaning the sunbeds after use of every customer, as well as hoovering and mopping the store. I am also a key holder meaning I am in charge of both opening and closing the store and making sure beds are safe to use, as well as cashing up . I also work on the till providing excellent customer service as well as helping new customers understand our 24 hours between bed policy and showing customers how to use the beds so they feel both comfortable and safe. I also was in charge of the safety of customers and had to make sure that all new customers signed a disclaimer and were aware of all the risks when using beds. This role has also allowed me to develop confidence when it comes to up selling, as we are tasked to sell a certain number of creams each week. I
