Sophia Jackson

ATPCO (Airline Tariff Publishing Company) plays a critical role in the global air travel industry by providing the technology and data that help airlines manage airfare pricing and distribution. I support Total Rewards operations across benefits, compensation, payroll, and HR systems. My role spans employee support, Workday data management, and process coordination, working closely with OD&L and HR Business Partners to ensure a consistent and accurate employee experience.

I pursued my Master’s in Management to bridge my background in human behavior with a strong foundation in business. Over the course of the year, I studied all core areas of business—including strategy, accounting, finance, spreadsheet modeling, law and ethics, leadership, and HR management—which significantly contributed to my professional growth. I collaborated with MSM peers, MBA and PhD candidates, as well as MSIS and MSF students, on projects addressing real-world business challenges, gaining hands-on experience in team-based problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

My four years at Indiana University have been nothing but experiences of tremendous growth both educationally and socially. Academically, I have gained a robust and comprehensive education that has equipped me with essential knowledge and critical thinking skills in both psychology and counseling. Socially, I have had the privilege of engaging with a diverse and vibrant community, fostering meaningful connections, and developing strong interpersonal skills. I will forever be grateful for the staff and students I was able to interact with during my time on Bloomington's campus!
