Picture this: a globe-trotting business woman based in Melbourne, enthused by design, passionate about fitness and wellness , free-spirited, forward-moving, mum of two absolutely gorgeous boys, raised by a French mother, and an African father. That’s me! Grew up in Paris - France. At the age of 18 traveled all around Europe to work, study and explore. More importantly, Europe’s art, design and architecture dipped in rich history, left a lasting impression on me. Newfound compassion for storytelling drove me to Canada, where I completed my Bachelors in Fine Arts at Montreal University, and fashion studies from a local college. I entered luxury fashion as a Sales Assistant at one of Europe’s retail empires, Louis Vuitton. I thrived there and worked my way up to becoming Product Manager. I developed an eye for fashion and detail, honed my business management skills and realized the power of great customer service. I was soon promoted as the Merchandise Specialist. An Australian businessman swayed my gypsy soul to Australia. It is here that I became a mother to two amazing boys and interestingly, a zesty, business-savvy entrepreneur with 2 furniture stores and an interior design business. It was also here that I discovered my inner calm in fitness. The more I consciously watered my soul with positivity and strengthen ed my body with exercise and yoga, the more I learned about myself and progressed in all walks of life. I also realized that there was still a huge gap in the active wear market in Australia for clothing that was not just high on performance, but also high on fashionability, available at a price easy on the pocket and a quality that would ensure long term use. Fitness is an extension of my life, a true passion. Exercise for me is about the challenge to rise above my (presumed) limitations. I was already embodying this in my personal and professional life. And now wanted to empower women. It was only natural for me to combine my 2 biggest passions and bleat my truth through my first fashion venture, Black sheep: a reassured clap back at all the voices holding you back. I hat was globally inspired, ethically sourced, high quality, and constructed to fit every body type.
