Hi! I’m Sonya. A mathematician by training and software engineer by practice, specialising in turning abstract theory into production-grade intelligent systems. 👾 My background in pure mathematics (topology, number theory, knot theory, etc.) informs how I engineer software: reducing complex problems to first principles and reconstructing them as robust, scalable architectures. I focus on backend systems and full-stack platforms in Python, designing AI-driven applications, cloud-native services, data pipelines, and automated deployment workflows built for real-world reliability and performance. My work lives at the intersection of machine learning, econometrics, and systems engineering, where theoretical rigour meets execution at scale. Beyond building, I create technical content exploring system design, applied AI, and the mathematical foundations behind modern software. Solo Product Engineer - Design Digitizer
Adobe
Won $5,000 as a solo builder in the Adobe Add-ons Hackathon, and grew the prototype to production with 400+ users and paid customers. Built Design Digitizer, an Adobe Express add-on that converts raw images into editable design canvases using computer vision and OCR.
