Sonya Oblisk

As the Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer at Whole Foods Market, I lead our efforts in merchandising, marketing, communications, and e-commerce, while also overseeing digital product management. ​ With nearly 20 years of experience in retail and consumer goods marketing and brand management, I am deeply passionate about putting customers at the center of all decision-making and advancing Whole Foods Market’s mission through our product Quality Standards. Before joining Whole Foods Market, I served as a company officer at Walmart, most recently as Vice President of Marketing for Sam’s Club.​ I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from The Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta. Outside of work, I am a yoga enthusiast and an avid scuba diver. My husband, Dave, and I enjoy traveling, cooking, and exploring the trails in Austin.​
