Assistant Manager – Procurement & Contracts (Global Sourcing) Bid floating, Bid Evaluation, Negotiation and Contract Award for Supply and Services for various power projects. Contract Management & LC operations, Vendor Development Contract Management for a 2400MW gas based project and a 4000MW coal based power project based in India for our Indian client. Identified & raised considerable no. of Claims & issues related to billing schedule. Handled documents flow from vendor to client and co-ordinating with client’s logistics, project management team, finance team and site team for efficient supply and receipt of materials at site. Checking prices, quantities of supply in every shipment and approving the invoices on purchase orders and co-ordinating with logistics, site and project finance and project management team. LC operations, Bank Guarantees monitoring and extension as per contract. Coordinated with Finance team. Ensured regular update and regular dissemination of information to user teams vis-à-vis various MIS reports - PR, PO delivery tracking, Budget utilisation, supply summary & projections of future supply shipments. Developed new vendors and maintained existing vendors to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy. Prepared monthly cash flow projections and reviewed the terms and conditions of subcontract documentation to ensure that commercial /legal /Statutory compliance are met by vendors, protecting project interests. Assisted Logistics team while dealing with Indian Customs at Kandla, Haldia and other portsfor fast and smooth clearance of goods in time.

Joined CPG dept. as GET. Prepared approval notes for PRs, coordinated resupply items procurement at various project sites. Worked as Assistant Manager in the Central Procurement Group of Reliance Infrastructure at DAKC, Navi Mumbai. Highlights: Bid floating, Bid Evaluation, Negotiation and Contract Award for EPC service, Steam TG & Owner’s Engineering Services for 100MW CSP based Solar Power Project in Rajasthan, first of its kind in India.  Raised Purchase Proposals based on PRs for various projects under EPC divisions for re-supply items & spares.  Issued Purchase Orders upon approval of Purchase Proposal as per commercial T&Cs from Finance.  Coordinated with vendor and finance for payment release and tracking payment to the vendor.  Visited Sites & Vendor’s facilities to ensure best co-ordination & resolve any pending issues related to Supplies.  Acted as primary contact person for all supply requirements for DVC- R’pur, Rosa, Hisar & Butibori projects.
