I didn’t plan any of this. I wanted to study Computer Science in undergrad… and somehow ended up in Electronics & Communication. Classic plot twist. But that detour weirdly worked out as I got to build a deep-tech product that ended up deployed in 80 institutions across India. Not bad for a kid who didn't even want that major. After that, I spent two great years at Ford Motor Company and learned a ton… mostly that corporate life is not for me. So I went back to chase the CS dream and ended up at NYU. And honestly? Day 1 at NYU was rough. Everyone felt freakishly smart. I had major impostor syndrome and kept wondering who accidentally let me in. But that same discomfort is what pushed me outside the classroom - mostly to founder events, where I finally felt like I belonged. And eventually, that pushed me to build something of my own. I started Context as an international student with a big, borderline-delusional dream: reinvent education using AI. For a while, it looked like we were this close to the finish line… until everything fell apart in one day (long story; ask me over coffee). Another failure on the list. But along the way, I accidentally became the guy hosting events. Since Jan 2025, I’ve thrown 75+ events for founders across NYC because I genuinely believe this city (I love NYC) can become the biggest startup ecosystem in the world, and I want to help make that happen. So here’s where I’m at now: I’ve failed at almost everything I’ve tried. I’m still figuring things out. And I know I’ll fail again and probably multiple times. But I also know I’m not stopping anytime soon. Because when I die, I just want people to remember me as someone who kept trying, who built cool things, who gave value, who didn’t quit even when things made zero sense… someone who went all in.
