1) Regulatory Compliance - Ensure timely and accurate IMDS submissions in accordance with OEM-specific guidelines and global standards (e.g., GADSL, ELV). - Oversee compliance tracking for PFAS regulations, including data collection, reporting (e.g., TSCA 8(a)(7), REACH PFAS restriction), and supplier engagement. - Manage product compliance with REACH (SVHC, Annex XVII), RoHS, SCIP, and other regional/global substance regulations. - Maintain documentation and support audit readiness for internal, customer, or regulatory inspections. 2) Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance specialists or analysts. - Allocate tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of team objectives. - Provide guidance on complex submissions, regulatory interpretation, and data quality checks. - Conduct team performance reviews and training sessions on regulatory updates and compliance tools. 3) Supplier & Customer Communication - Interface with suppliers to obtain Full Material Declarations (FMDs), compliance certificates, and manage declarations across the supply chain. - Respond to customer compliance requests (e.g., declarations for REACH, RoHS, PFAS, IMDS), ensuring high-quality, timely responses. 4) Process Improvement & Strategy - Drive standardization and automation of compliance workflows and reporting. - Monitor emerging global regulations (e.g., Prop 65, TSCA, China RoHS) and assess business impact. - Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, R&D, quality, and ESG teams to embed compliance into product design and sourcing strategy.

1) IMDS Data Management - Create, review, and submit material data sheets (MDS) in the International Material Data System (IMDS) in accordance with customer and OEM-specific requirements. - Validate material compositions, weights, and classifications to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. 2) Regulatory Compliance - Ensure product compliance with global environmental regulations such as ELV, REACH, RoHS, GADSL, and other applicable standards. - Support preparation of documentation for SCIP notifications and other regulatory reporting tools. 3) Supplier Coordination - Work closely with suppliers to obtain material declarations and ensure submitted MDS meet required standards. - Evaluate and approve incoming supplier MDS for accuracy and completeness. 4) Customer Communication - Respond to OEM or customer queries regarding MDS submissions and product compliance. - Support audits or technical reviews related to material data and compliance reporting. 5) Data Quality & Consistency - Maintain high-quality and consistent data records in IMDS. - Implement checks for errors, duplications, or deviations from standard guidelines. 6) Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with engineering, product design, procurement, and quality teams to integrate compliance into product development and sourcing. - Provide material compliance input during new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change requests. 7) IMDS Training & Support - Provide IMDS training and guidance to internal teams and new suppliers as needed. - Stay current on updates to IMDS guidelines and GADSL lists; communicate changes to relevant teams. 8) Continuous Improvement - Contribute to improvements in IMDS submission processes, workflows, and automation tools.

1) Quality Control & Inspection - Perform in-process and final inspections of components/products using measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calliper, micrometres, gauges). - Support the implementation of quality control plans, sampling plans, and inspection criteria. - Record and report non-conformities, deviations, or defects, and initiate corrective action processes. 2) Documentation & Compliance - Assist in preparing and maintaining quality documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Ensure proper documentation in line with standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or customer-specific requirements. - Support the creation and revision of work instructions and quality manuals. 3) Problem Solving & Corrective Actions - Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes. - Work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that address recurring quality issues. - Assist in the use of problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone), and 8D reports. 4) Supplier & Customer Support - Support incoming quality inspections of raw materials and components from suppliers. - Assist in responding to customer complaints or audit findings with appropriate documentation and follow-up. 5) Audit & System Support - Participate in internal audits and support external (customer or certification) audits as needed. - Monitor process adherence and escalate quality concerns to senior quality personnel.
