I currently work for Long Term Care Group as a Trilingual Telephonic Interviewer handling the company's Mandarin and Spanish speaking applicants. It is my responsibility to correctly interpret and document all medical conditions and their specifics as well as lifestyle, financial and personal information, switching languages with little to zero notice. I have a BA in Asian Languages and Literature - Chinese track focusing on Chinese culture, history and language from the University of Minnesota. In order to complete my major, I sold my belongings and moved to Kunming China for two years until I was fluent enough in Chinese to appropriately finish my major and take the highest level Chinese Literature course that the University of Minnesota offers, I also have lived in Leon, Mexico and am equally fluent in both languages, now in the beginning stages of learning Arabic.

I have studied at the University of Minnesota since the spring of 2012. I transferred from Trinity University due to distance from family and continued my intensive studies of Chinese language, culture, literature and history. I also took literature classes taught completely in Spanish. I am studying both modern and Classical Chinese. I recently returned from living in China on a self directed study for two years which the University allowed me a leave of absence to do, so I am resuming my Chinese studies on a very advanced level. I am on track to graduate in 2016.
