Sohan Das

Assistant Professor with a strong academic background and a growing research focus in Medical Image Analysis using Deep Learning. I am currently a PhD Scholar at Jadavpur University, where my research is oriented toward developing and exploring deep learning–based methodologies for medical imaging applications. I am in the early stage of my doctoral research, actively engaged in literature review and problem exploration to identify impactful research directions within the medical imaging and healthcare domain. My research interests broadly include medical image analysis, deep learning models, and data-driven approaches for healthcare systems. Alongside research, I am actively involved in teaching engineering students and am committed to integrating research-driven perspectives into classroom learning. My long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to academia through high-quality research, effective teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of medical imaging and artificial intelligence.
