• Assigned as the responsible Chief Accountant for a number of companies of the Group, involved in the industries of winemaking, hospitality, travel & tourism. • Leaded the set-up of the accounts department of the company, comprising of the winery and the restaurant, by setting up systems and procedures with regards to invoicing, inventory control, credit control and reporting. • Supervision of the day-to-day tasks of the accounts department by managing and resolving conflicts, organizing and delegating the accounting personnel. • Preparing and reviewing the accounting records of the Companies for external audits and liaising with the external auditors to solve the audit issues. • Reviewing VAT, VIES and Intrastat documents and preparing respective forms for submission. • Preparing the management accounts and other relevant financial reports and coordinating the communication and analysis of the figures with the Management. • Preparing the documentation required for obtaining government subsidies of the group. • Leaded the team for the planning and implementation of the “group loss relief” for all the companies of the group. • Significantly involved in the implementation of the GDPR legislation for the travel agent company, with the leading role of the DPO.

• Performed Financial Statements audits in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), produced Financial Statements in accordance with IFRSs and involved in the preparation of Income Tax Returns. • Took on a leadership role by being in-charge of several audit teams, working on clients of different size and complexity, including companies listed on the Cyprus Stock Exchange and large local companies specialized in the manufacturing industry. • Involved in challenging projects such as the audit of an airport operations company were gained insight in dealing with the peculiarities of a high-profile subsidiary company. • Practised in specialised fields, for example Property, Plant and Equipment (PPE) by working for the audit of a satellite communication company. • Exposed to the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements. • Engaged with overseas clients, and accustomed to the specificities of companies incorporated in Cyprus who are providing services abroad. • Developed strong business relationships with top management of clients through discussions, in relation to audit issues arising during the process of the work performed. • Coordinated and trained teams of junior members and motivated them to meet strict deadlines.
