Sofia Calvit

Hi there! I'm Sofia, executive creative director at GUT São Paulo, awarded at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, Andy Awards, Clio, LIA, and others. I joined GUT in 2021 as a creative director and since then, I've worked on important projects for significant accounts in the agency and the region. Mercado Livre - the biggest e-commerce of Latin America, Mercado Pago - the biggest fintech in Latin America, Zé Delivery - the world's leading beverage delivery app and part of ABInbev, Porto Seguro - the most remembered insurance brand by Brazilians, and O Boticário - the most beloved beauty brand in Brazil. Along with my wonderful team, I've won GUT São Paulo's first Lion for ABInbev, the first Gold Lion for Boticário and Mercado Pago's first-ever shortlist in history. I also participated in other award-winning agency projects for Heinz. Before GUT, I worked as a copywriter in agencies renowned in Brazil and worldwide, such as Wunderman Thompson, DPZ&T, and FCB. There, I developed campaigns for McDonald's, Netflix, Oreo, KitKat, NIVEA, and Whirlpool. I had the honor of being a jury three times for Clube de Criação – the most important local award in Brazil, for TikTok Awards, NY Festivals and Lusófonos.
