Leadership role at IDFC FIRST BANK

About Current role: At present heading Corporate & International Banking technology. In the previous role, was heading Cards technology, Mobile Banking and Tablet banking technology at the bank. Led the internal development team. Responsibility Synopsis: • Managing the entire landscape of applications for Corporate customers including Mobile banking, Internet banking, Payments & Collections, RTGS, NEFT, SWIFT, API banking etc. • Managing all projects, local regulatory mandates for all International geographies. • Designed and rolled out Central KYC program including new application, end to end processes at Bank level, data sharing with CERSAI and updation of cKYC identifier for customers. • Designed and launched mobile banking applications i.e. iMobile for retail customers and iBizz for corporate customers. These are among top rated apps in terms of usage, transactions, convenience. • In order to automate the sourcing and servicing of the customers, designed and rolled out Mobile/Tablet based applications. • As development head, had developed peripheral systems for functions like Treasury, operations etc. and driving the development of in house systems/automations. • Evaluation & finalization of technology platforms to ensure usage of robust and high availability architecture. • Driving PCI DSS program at enterprise level for entire cards business, technology units. • Identification of opportunities for automating processes and implementation of solutions for various automation projects across all business units like Call Centre, Operations etc. This has resulted in optimum use of resources, TAT reduction and quality improvement. • Successful completion of many migration projects like Integration of erstwhile Bank of Rajasthan cards, Migration of Prepaid platform, Credit Cards Host (Issuing), Acquiring side to IMS platform etc. resulting into considerable cost saving. These migrations were complex in nature involving huge data migration.

During my brief tenure, my responsibilities included but not limited to the following. Devising various processes for Post paid business - customer acquisition, customer life cycle management, new initiatives and improving existing processes. Setting up of the business analysis team to deliver the informative analysis reports for decision makers to speed up the decisions. Developing various analysis methods to help effective business analysis.

In brief, as Engineering Manager, I had been instrumental in setting up of Centre of Excellence in Engineering (CoEE) for Asia pacific. Key responsibilities include: Providing a set of standardized engineered project solutions with significant cost reduction and time compression. Development, implementation and continuous improvement of the various CoEE process using Six Sigma methodologies. Development, continuous improvement and documentation of all engineering practices, standards, policies, codes. As a Six sigma Black Belt, worked on strategic projects like reduce rework hours and improve productivity. among many others,,

As Project Engineer, my responsibilities were included but not limited to the following. Providing stand alone and/or integrated project solutions with Fire detection & alarm system, Background Music /PA, Video/Digital Congress Network, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Interactive TV etc. Pre-sales and direct sales activity in Service segment for entire Western India. Concept selling and proactive prospecting with customers, consultants. Generation of enquiries and submission of competitive techno-commercial offers Dealers/Value Added Resellers, sub-contractors and vendor management Project engineering conforming to Indian, International standards (NFPA, BS, UL etc).

During my brief tenure at Steelage Industries Ltd., I was overall in- charge for Fire Detection and Alarm System. I had introduced computerization and standardization of all processes.
