I am pleased to announce that I have accepted a new role at Unigen as President and COO.

Full service EMS provider of NPI as well as short/medium volume electronics assembly. Achievements include: Controlling the building out the reconstruction of this 55K Sq ft facility in three and a half months including a US$5million remodel. Building a team of best in class staff in order to provide excellent customer service. Co-ordinating through my engineering team the installation and commissioning of the most advanced manufacturing line in silicon valley. Achieving all of the above between late August 2011 and December 2011 for building final sign off with first customer orders shipped in early December. Led the team that enabled the site to pass initial accreditation audits for ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 only 8 months after the site opened for business. Of course the whole of the above being a team effort. Update the team led by myself just got through the accreditation audit for ISO-13485 with just a few minors - only 16 months after doors opening great job team......

Achievements include: Bringing Company and product line to ISO 9001-2000 compliance in Q3'09 (nine months from project start). Designing all aspects of packaging technology for seven semiconductor products. Implemented automated vendor reporting on WIP And Yield, on all semiconductor products Designed and implemented a direct drop shipment model from packaging vendor to final customer. Designed GUI based records management lookup and control system for ISO. DFX and manufacture of all development boards and multi chip modules. Brought all products to RoHS compliance by mid '05 Responsibilities include: All aspects of engineering development for NPI (supply chain , quality, and negotiations with third party silicon, packaging, test and contract manufacturing vendors.) All aspects of package design including ball map, package type, thermal modeling, package layout, package qualification (HTOL, ESD, etc). All semiconductor, MCM and development board vendor management (scheduling, quality, documentation, budgeting, financial management, process specification.)
