I am a professional, enthusiastic, adaptable Civil Engineer with more than Nine years of experiences in structural Engineering specially Design, Construction, Operation & Maintenance of Sub-stations. Presently, I have been working as a Executive Engineer in DPDC which is a state owned power utility company responsible for distributing power in Dhaka the capital city of Bangladesh. From the time being, My main job responsibilities... Job Responsibilities:  Structural and Foundation design of substation building: Super structure and foundations of 14 nos. 132/33kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) buildings (6 to 20 storied buildings) in various locations of Dhaka City were designed & implemented under me. Analysis of soil tests before construction, supervision of pile load tests and pile strength (cylinder/cube) tests of single and group piles during construction were made and quality controls were maintained throughout project periods.  Structural and Foundation design of transmission towers: Structural design and foundations of Overhead Towers (River Crossing, Terminal and Anchor) and transmission monopoles (tension and suspension type) were designed & supervised by me. I have conducted settlement analysis for foundations of river crossing towers with erosion protected designs. Also determined proper anchorage for pole foundations against overturning moment failure.  Subsurface investigation: I have directed and monitored the subsurface investigations for installation of 132kV (kilovolts) and 33kV high voltage XLPE (Cross Linked Polymer) underground cable maintaining proper quality. Design and supervision of underground power cable trench from source power house to feeder substations were done by me where soil surcharge and retaining pressures were massive. I contributed in overcoming obstacles of right of way for underground cable installations (44 km long) against other utility underground lines (gas, water etc.). Calculation of load for HDPE (High density poly ethylene) pipe laying in open cut and HDD (Horizontal Drive drilling) methods for cable laying in VVIP roads were done under my supervision.  Underground Utility Duct Design: I contributed to the design of high voltage (132kV) underground cable duct (600 m) at Sitalakhya river side where scouring of soil layers was major challenge and contributed to the design of multiple cable trench for VIP road crossing where dynamic traffic load calculation and safety were vital consideration.
