Lead the IT infra team and Instrumental in building the IT infrastructure for Cyient facilities for over 14 years. Grew with the company to become General Manager. I was responsible for operations all the MSIT data center based IT assets which include compute, storage, data protection and manageability operations. I was the service owner for the VBO infrastructure at 300 global locations. Lead several operation excellence and process improvement initiatives. Done in coordination with global stakeholder teams. Significant contributions in optimization of storage and realized huge savings of about USD 4 mil. Instrumental in expanding the scope of work in manageability function and transitioned work to India. Drove automation to enhance the efficiency in operations. Managed huge data center migrations & network swings and technology refresh projects. Instrumental in implementing DPMO and improve the sigma value from 2.8 to 3.9 in compute space. Recommended several improvements and features in DPM. Key member in vendor/contract evaluation, One data protection strategy, employee exchange program etc.
