Understanding of the requirements and development of the design and code of the software. The software was developed in VC++ and .NET

The application developed here was written using Qt (a cross-compiler) which enables this product to be run on both Windows and Linux. This is actually a development studio which allows the users to code in a VB like procedural language call SAL. The software can generate libraries and/or exes as per the build settings. A repository tool was also implemented.

An Application was written to communicate, over the Ethernet, between a server and various clients using Sockets. A Rabbit Microprocessor is connected to the Ethernet and interfaces with the client machine. Requests are sent/ serviced based on a protocol developed in-house. This project aims at a global messaging system in a large industry. Problems/Repair statuses are recorded at the client machines and are sent to the server. The server keeps track of the problems and where they occur and present this to the maintenance department. The coding was in VC++. Development of the customized socket class, to establish communication with the clients. Development of the protocol to decode the packets sent from the clients. Development of the server-stub, which acts as a test tool and the reference for the maintenance department

As a .NET technical consultant I am called to propose for the design of projects in various domains. My other responsibilities include end-to-end development and to provide training on various .NET aspects.
