About
Having graduated in 2022 I am in the early stages of my professional career. Through both studying and working at my university I have been able to develop and master valuable core skills in my time. Throughout my degree I was able to share my passion for HR while also serving as the President of the Griffith HRM and ER Society and gaining valuable insights across multiple internships. Through my years work, I have thrived working in team environments by taking an enthusiastic approach to any and all challenges that present themselves. I'm excited to see where I can take my career.

Experience

Human Resources Intern
Queensland, Australia
I was able to acquire an internship as part of Griffith University's 'Community Internship' program. This program matched students seeking with experience to various non-for-profits and other charitable organisations geared to making a difference within their communities. My internship was with Lighthouse Care, a non-for-profit that's mission is to provide affordable groceries to those undergoing hardship. Being established in 2004, the organisation now operates two stores housing over 600 products. In my role at the internship, I was looking to recruit volunteers. This required me to create job descriptions, manage and handle applicant emails, while also interviewing and inducting volunteers. I also was able to create a document showcasing to volunteers how their experience at Lighthouse Care could be used to find employment.
