Safety, Occupational Health, Risk and Emergency Manager at Alumar Consortium, with more than 14 thousand workers, comprising a seaport, refinery (alumina production), smelter (aluminum production) and tailings dams.

Safety, Occupational Health & Hygiene, Environment and Licensing and Emergency Response Manager for ALUMAR consortium, with 10 thousand workers at Port, Refinery, Smelter e Impoundments.

• Head of HSE & Licensing for Phosphates and Niobium businesses, with three industrial plants, two open-pit mines in the State of Goiás and an industrial plant in the State of São Paulo, totaling 5000 employees and contractors; • Improved safety performance: YTD Out 21 TRCFR (total recordable cases frequency rate) 68% less than 2020 and no LTI (lost time incident); • Development of safety improvement plan with short and medium term actions, review of KPI, monitoring and corrective actions when necessary; • Responsible HSE & Licencing budget management and monitoring (~USD10 mi); • Development of COVID-19 management protocol with improvements in the biological risk management process throughout the pandemy, ensuring the maintenance of the business; • Restructuring of Safety, Health, Environment and Licensing team; • Guarantee of operating licenses, without delays and/or impacts on the business.

Occupational Hygiene and Safety related technical reports elaboration for different Labor Courts, with 100% of the conclusions accepted by them.

Occ Health and Safety Manager of an open pit mine, 2 grade-4 risk pyrometallurgy plants, and 5 reforestation projects, with a total of 3000 employees and 1500 contractors. • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications. • Development and administration of education and compliance programs relating to federal, state and local regulations in relation to all applicable legislation. • Responsible for safety governance in the renovation of Codemin and Barro Alto electric furnace, with 250 and 2000 third parties involved, with no fatalities or lost-time accidents. • 90% reduction in the main type of accident with injury and a 65% improvement in the severity rate at the new Barro Alto Plant, in three years. • Implementation of an innovative program of awareness, engagement and involvement of workers with safety issues, which mobilized children and wives “in loco” in the two industrial units, with immediate repercussions on behavioral changes due to their emotional impact. • Management of the GRD implementation project – Daily Routine Management, with clear definition of roles and responsibilities, enabling the management of routine organizational processes, and minimizing the overload of coordinators and managers. • Leadership of the risk assessment process to enable the mine's operation to advance towards the community in accordance with LOM. • Named one of the 100 inspirational women in the mining industry – Women in Mining, Standard - Bank / UK – 2013. • International exposure for having participated in Management Excellence programs at the Gordon Institute of Business Science at the University of Pretoria in South Africa and safety audits at company units in Chile, South Africa and Australia.

• Responsible for the governance of aspects related to Safety and Risk Management during the construction of the new Industrial Plant in Barro Alto. At its peak, the project involved 10 thousand workers and required 12 million MHW (man-hours worked) without any fatalities and only 7 instances of lost time injury, and no other losses. • Conducting analysis of the causes of accidents that occurred, involving multidisciplinary teams.

• Codemin Safety Coordination, being responsible for the safety management of the pyrometallurgical unit in Niquelândia/GO and reforestation farms.

Active in the Coordination Safety & Occ Health at the Emergency Hospital of Goiás State, in charge of implementing the safety legislation for biological risks management, issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment – MTE.

Responsible for the Hygiene and Safety Department, providing consulting services to companies from different segments, developing risk management programs.
