Extensive communication with legal counsel, arrangers, lenders, other agent banks, advisors and loan administration department. Producing procedures outlining agency duties and prepare checklists. Ensure the requirements of the ECA guarantee or policy and interest make up agreements are adhered to at all times. Significant interaction with SACE and the Insured Party to maintain cover and effect claims.

Management of the middle office team responsible for documenting facility agreements, amendments, guarantees, recording and monitoring of loan covenants and performing some 50 agency roles primarily in the Shipping sector. Implementation, authorisation and ongoing portfolio management of syndicated and bilateral loans in Shipping, Energy, Telecom, Media, Technology, Healthcare and Corporate sectors. Responsibility for various projects with the objective to reduce operational risk within the middle office and implement global standards.

Extensive experience managing a wide range of project and structured financings where performing the role of facility agent including ECA agent, intercreditor agent, security trustee or account bank. Providing co-ordination and transaction management services to originators, borrowers, lenders, advisers and export credit agencies. Particular exposure to project, leveraged and structured finance. Key competencies: proactive agency management; negotiation of agency-related aspects of finance documentation, monitoring of technical and legal requirements, interpreting cashflow models and financial ratios, chairing of bank meetings, marketing of agency services.

* Performing the facility agent role with primary focus on the project and export finance portfolio. This includes the on-boarding of new transactions * managing client waiver or amendment requests with syndicate lenders and export credit agencies * liaising with external lawyers on post completion tasks, and other advisors as required * arranging / attending bank meetings and client presentations * providing guidance for Loan Agency Client Services Operations and managing on-going non-operational aspects of these facilities.
