Supporting international donor-funded (ADB, EU, FCDO, GIZ, IFC, WB, etc.) sustainable development, climate and women's empowerment initiatives in multiple roles: project manager, gender expert, stakeholder engagement manager, evaluator, communications expert. Specialised in gender and social inclusion mainstreaming; gender analysis and assessment; gender M&E, especially at the nexus of gender & climate and gender & energy. Strong focus on and expertise in Asia (Central, South, Southeast, East Asia and the Pacific), with additional experience in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Gender and women entrepreneurship advisor, with a special focus on Asia.

In the scope of the prestigious global professional incubator for female entrepreneurs, “Vital Voices Grow”, coached, advised and trained women SME entrepreneurs from Asia, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America on entrepreneurship, business management, financial literacy and marketing.

Managed the inception phase of an EU-funded grant project ("Tha Bar Wa"), supporting SMEs in the F&B sector to take up energy-efficiency and wastewater management practices in the country’s largest industrial sector and among the largest water and energy consumers and polluters (Sustainable Food Systems of the 10YFP on SCP).

Key Expert of the Network Facility of the EU-funded SWITCH-Asia Programme - www.switch-asia.eu - that promotes sustainable development in 18 developing countries in Asia. Personal responsibilities included: a) all Programme communications, visibility and outreach (website management, social media, multimedia, publications, press releases); b) knowledge management (ca. 100 grant projects); c) coordination, implementation of Programme events (workshops, conferences, trainings, press conferences, etc.); d) development of the gender component of the Programme (gender advise, collection of gender data at project level, aggregation at Programme level).

Lead the implementation of the EU co-funded project "Train the Trainers", promoting energy-efficient construction and sustainable urbanisation in China. The EUR 3 mln project trained more than 1,500 SME professionals and government officials across China and a.o. resulted in the establishment of a permanent "Sino-European energy-efficient building training and research centre" at Tongji University in Shanghai.

• Supported Bhutan’s first privately-owned, woman-run bilingual newspaper to streamline marketing (brand and content identity). Provided training on communication tools and thematic citizen participation campaigns. Prepared presentations, drafted and proofread articles, gave training, helped identify and design partnerships in view of long-term sustainability. • Trained internal staff on business presentation and communication, including thematic citizen participation campaigns. Helped turn the newspaper online platform into a more accessible and reader-friendly platform. Based in Thimphu Scoping trips to Paro and Punakha.

Contracted by the Chinese chapter of the international NGO to conceptualise, collect info for and draft publications about rural development, children and access to education. Conducted the study “Tracing the track” covering ActionAid International’s history, human rights-based approach and achievements since the inception of its activities in China in 1998. Methods included desk research and interviews of senior staff.
