General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Board Member at CGN Brasil Energy, a subsidiary of one of the largest energy groups in China. I am directly involved in defining the company’s legal, compliance, institutional, and government affairs strategies, reporting to the local board and the international headquarters. I lead the Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs areas across all business units in Brazil. My role combines risk management, corporate governance, strategic contracts, institutional and government relations, with a strong interface with regulatory agencies (ANEEL, ONS, CCEE), public authorities, private stakeholders, and the controlling shareholder in China. I am responsible for managing M&A transactions, structuring complex financings with multilateral banks, and developing robust governance, risk, and compliance frameworks aligned with international best practices and the requirements of regulated markets. As the only Brazilian executive on the board, I act as a bridge between local governance and headquarters, aligning management models, corporate culture, and strategic interests between Brazil and China.

Legal support to all departments of the company. Assessment, follow-up and management of litigation (labor, tax and civil - especially in Consumer Law). Responsible for actions and projects to reduce risks and liabilities arising from judicial and administrative proceedings. Responsible for managing the application of the company's Corporate Governance. Elaboration and negotiation of contracts through direct action with customers/suppliers, mainly financial contracts (loans, BNDES) and commercial leasing (shopping malls). Legal responsible for the company's IPO process and listing project on BM & FBovespa (revision of the Bylaws, Reference Form and other relevant documents). Responsible for the implementation of internal processes for the management of the legal area, team building and coordination of law firms.

Negotiation and preparation of financial contracts in general. Legal coordination in fundraising projects (BNDES, FINEP, issue of debentures, among others). Participation and legal support in projects with financial institutions, investors, customers and partners. Management of the tax, judicial and administrative litigation portfolio, containing approximately 2 (two) thousand cases. Elaboration of opinions and studies related to new theses and legal changes and/or proposals to change the tax legislation, in addition to the analysis of tax risks in the Company's projects. Monitoring inspections, external audits (“Big Four”) and public agents. Evaluation and implementation of special regimes and tax benefits. Founder and responsible for the Company's Tax Governance Committee. Control of tax liabilities and provisions.
