* Main responsibilities: * Establish and mantain contacts with regulatory authorities regarding clarification and follow-up of submissions under review and submission of administrative applications * Draft of the e-fate sections of Registration Reports/ Review of National Part A of Registration Reports * Submission of information about mixtures compositions to the poison centres * Creation of applications through the EU Plant Protection Products Application Management System (PPPAMS) * Collection of information and data for the compilation of Safety Data Sheets

I worked as risk assessor of Plant Protection Products: in view of my studies background, I focussed on the environmental sections of Registration Reports submitted by industries to support the registration of Plant Protection Products in the EU southern zone. I checked the compliance of the proposed assessment with the current EU requirements set by EU Regulation 1107/2009. My responsibilities included the prediction of contamination of active substances in soil and aquatic compartments with FOCUS modelling and the evaluation of risk to non-target organisms (flora and fauna).
