About

Passionate about Cyber Security for the past three decades, I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to the field. My expertise lies in identifying and evaluating entity-specific risks, enabling enterprises to achieve their business objectives by designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining risk-based, efficient, and effective Information Security (IS) controls and policies. In 1994, I pioneered the design, implementation, and configuration of the first Greek Internet Service Provider (ISP) Web Infrastructure, exclusively powered and operated using Microsoft Technologies. Subsequently, I contributed significantly to Microsoft Hellas by delivering numerous technical presentations at Developer Conferences since 1996, showcasing the latest technologies from a core development perspective. In 1998, I played a key role in designing and implementing the first high-availability cluster for Microsoft Web services at the largest Greek ISP, OTEnet. Transitioning to the role of Technical Presales and Product Manager for Symantec in 2002, I effectively represented my company as a Security Distributor and Gold Partner. One of my notable achievements in 2003 was designing the security schema for the largest Exchange Server installation in the European Union, used during the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. Subsequently, I presented the "HACKING EXPOSED NETWORKS" session at CISCO EXPO 2007, focusing on protecting against targeted attacks. Two years later, I had the honor of delivering the first security presentation at a national Banking forum, titled "THE ART OF HACKING FINANCIAL NETWORKS" during the 14th Banking Forum in 2009, raising awareness about RAT hacking in the banking sector. In the subsequent years, I conducted numerous Security Penetration Tests and Audits on highly secured networks. Since 2017, I have held the position of Chief Hacking Officer at CORESEC S.A, leading its Cybersecurity Red Teaming Services. I find joy in empowering the Security Community and raising Security Awareness among individuals. I consider Cybersecurity not just a profession but a lifelong passion.

I joined PC SYSTEMS in 1996, assuming the primary responsibility of conceptualizing and implementing advanced Security Solutions and Information Security Management for extensive customer infrastructures. My focus included designing the Security Architecture for major infrastructures in both the Public and Private Sectors. I possess numerous certifications in the Security field, including OSCE, OSCP, CRISC, CCNP Sec, CEH, MCSA, and STS. In 2008, I was honored with the title of "Engineer of the Year" by SYMANTEC Hellas. Additionally, I have been a prominent presenter and speaker at various events organized by Microsoft Hellas, showcasing my expertise in Microsoft's New Technologies. I have authored numerous articles on security and provided early warning advisories for large companies and organizations. These contributions have been published in reputable Information Security Magazines and on the Internet. In 2007, I became the first certified Ethical Hacker (CE|H) in Greece, and in 2008, I was appointed by EC-Council as the first E|CSA and Licensed Penetration Tester L|PT in Greece. In 2011, I achieved certification as OSCE by Offensive Security. At PC SYSTEMS, I lead a specialized Security Team, equipped with extensive expertise in the Information Security field and IT Governance.
