• Successfully manage projects as it relates to coordinating and completing ongoing large-scale groundwater monitoring programs including groundwater sample collection, field measurements and recording, data compilation and reporting. • Complete field programs including surface water analysis, sludge sampling, air monitoring and soil monitoring. • Assist in wildlife biology programs including fish and frog surveying, bird nest surveys, and tadpole relocation programs on pipeline projects. • Geotechnical experience in drilling supervision, laboratory and field-testing services. • Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and complete Phase II Environmental Site Assessment drilling, soil sampling and groundwater monitoring. • Lead projects from proposal stages to completion. • Produce groundwater monitoring scopes, including cost estimates and sampling schematics.

• Performed mandatory invasive species inspections on watercrafts to protect Alberta waters from aquatic invasive species (i.e. zebra and quagga mussels) as part of a summer program. • Decontaminated non-compliant watercrafts and educated the public on the species at risk program.

• Compiled information for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and composed corresponding reports. • Produced Phase II scopes, including cost estimates and sampling schematics. • Collected soil samples and completed field screening using Electrical Conductivity and Organic Vapour Analyzers as part of Phase II's and a spill cleanup program. • Conducted Electro Magnetic Surveys on abandoned well sites and processed that information to develop sampling plans.

Conducted daily sample cuts using the results of the viscosity, density and water content tests to ensure the product was within specific parameters to be shipped from the terminal in a precise and efficient manner. Successfully completed ground water sampling following rainfall events as well as with Matrix Solutions at the several groundwater-sampling wells on the property. These samples were tested for various parameters to ensure Husky was following regulations.

This position was part of my second 4 month Directed Field Studies term. Assisted the lead engineer with measuring and staking pipe, with accuracy, for the placement of bends and tie-in welds; making the jobs of both construction and welding crews clear. Performed QA/QC measures including, re-staking, jeeping and sleeving, which ensured the pipeline will be in sufficient condition for years to come prior to being buried.
