Continuously promote and maintain highest standard of housekeeping. Conduct Toolbox Talk meeting & make workers aware about job related hazard, and project’s rules & regulations. Ensure all appropriate documentation is in place such as JSA, Risk Assessment, PTW and others such as checklist, third party etc. for cranes, slings and associated accessories, generators, compressors and welding machines. Checking the fire extinguisher monthly and regularly checking alarm systems to ensure they are working properly. Investigated near misses and incident. Appointing competent people to enforcing Health & Safety rules and regulations. Checking to make sure that staffs/worker do not arrive to work under the influence of alcohol. Having a system for waste disposal to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace. Walking around the workplace and looking for any hazards. Monitor t ensuring that the causes of an incident are ascertained, and those adequate steps taken to prevent the re-occurrence. Conduct site inspection, monitoring and checking the Permit to Work compliance, tools, equipment and other attached important documents prior to start of work. Monitoring noise level and making sure that there are not excessive. Giving advice to colleagues to process with health and safety. Assisting managers on how to eliminate the hazards or minimize risks with the help of HIERARCHY. Providing administrative support to the Health & Safety Manager. Inspecting power & hand tools are maintained in good condition. Ensure inspection of lifting tools and gears used for critical and heavy lifting. Reprimand and impose disciplinary actions on employees violating safety rules and regulations. Presenting health and safety reports at Executive meetings. Developing emergency response plans and educating new employees on the company’s emergency evacuation procedures.
